All of our platters are made from a variety of domestic and exotic hardwoods. They have been finished with FDA approved food safe finishes such as salad bowl finish, butcher block oil, or beeswax.

This figured maple cheese platter is approximately 1 1/4" tall, is 10 3/4" in diameter, and 3/8" thick. A bark inclusion on the edge, as well as the figuring and grain variation add distinct character to the grain of the maple. The platter is finished with a food safe finish, and incudes a glass dome. With the dome in place the overall height is 7 1/4". |

It is made from a Northern Michigan Sugar Maple Tree, the same species of maple used to make maple syrup. This peice stands 1 1/2" high, is 13 1/2" in diameter, and is 1/4" thick.
